Multiple Assignments

If any employee has more than one active assignment, the combined hours cannot exceed 40 hrs/week.

If the employee works a combined total over 40 hours/week on an overtime-eligible assignment, the hours over 40 must be paid at a rate of 1.5 times the employee’s hourly rate, or shall be taken as compensatory time, unless the excess hours are balanced with time off during the same week, keeping the weekly total to 40 hours or less.

Authority to Hire

The Board of Governors has delegated the power to the President of Colorado State University to permit the re-delegation of authority to hire and accept undisputed resignations from tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure track faculty and administrative appointees employed in units reporting to the Provost/Academic Vice President and the Vice Presidents.
